About Me

Hi, I’m Brandon — but around here, people just call me The Tech Guy.

MidwestTechGuy.com started as a simple idea: take a lifelong passion for technology and turn it into something meaningful. I’ve always been the go-to guy for tech advice among friends and family, whether it’s building a custom PC, reviving an old laptop, or explaining the difference between RAM and ROM in a way that actually makes sense.

Technology has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up tinkering with old desktops, downloading software the “old school” way, and learning by breaking things (and then fixing them). Now, with years of experience under my belt, I’ve turned that curiosity into a full-blown mission: helping everyday people feel confident and in control of their tech.

But at the end of the day, I’m more than just a techie.

When I’m not elbow-deep in a home server setup or fine-tuning a Windows install, you’ll probably find me in the kitchen cooking up something delicious, or spending quality time with my partner and our loved ones. Family is the heart of everything I do — they’re the reason I work hard and the reason I care about doing things the right way.

Whether you're looking for help with your devices, want advice on building a custom setup, or just want someone honest and local to talk tech with, I’m here for it.

Thanks for stopping by — let’s make tech simple, together.
